Michael E. Yager, 56 of Chicago, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Weiss Memorial Hospital, Chicago. He is survived by loving fiancée, Fran Erickson of Chicago; beloved son of Betty and Walter Biser of Whiting, IN and the late Murray Yager; cherished brother of John (Debbie) Yager of Munster, IN; dearest uncle of Brandon Yager.

Funeral services will be held on, Monday, October, 3, 2016 at 11:00am at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting with the Rev. Stanley J. Dominik, officiating; cremation to follow; visitation at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00pm.

Michael was a graduate of George Washington High School on the East Side of Chicago, Class of 1978; he was a member of the Chicago Theatrical Stage Hand Union, Local 2 and an avid sports fan and a devoted Chicago White Sox fan. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
