In March of 2003 we entrusted the staff at Baran's with my mother Toni Mecklin (we had some trouble getting her remains from illinois and the staff of baran Funeral Home helped alot). We were treated as part of the Baran family, we were treated with compassion, understanding and sympathy. When her cremains were returned to the Funeral Home, I went to get them and I must say that Marty and the staff at Baran's treat the families exactly as they would like to be treated.

Over the years I have presided at many funerals that were handled by Baran's. I have always been impressed by their professionalism and compassionate concern for the families and friends of the deceased. That is so important, because very often the staff at Baran's are the first to be contacted by the family after the death of a loved one. My experience has been that the staff of Baran's regards its services as a ministry to the bereaved. My family was very pleased with the arrangements for our mother's funeral in 2013.
