William G. Scott, 59 of Whiting, passed away suddenly at his residence on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Loving father of Alex Scott and Meagan Scott; beloved son of Mildred Scott and the late George Scott; dearest brother of Thomas (Cathy) Scott and Jacqueline (late Dan) Presler; nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services have been entrusted to the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119^th Street, Whiting, There was no visitation. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on-line at www.baranfh.com. Memorials to the Whiting Food Pantry, P.O. Box 591, Whiting, Indiana 46394, would be appreciated.

William Scott was born on October 20, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois and was a lifelong resident of the Calumet Region. He was a graduate of St. Francis DeSales High School, Chicago, Class of 1980 and received his Bachelor Degree in Business Management from the Calumet College of St. Joseph, Hammond. He was currently the branch manager for Sherwin-Williams (Chicago Midtown location) with a service of 15 years. He enjoyed fishing and hockey. A devoted father, William will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
