William G. Rickmann Jr.

William G. Rickmann Jr., 64 of Whiting, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 4, 2024 at St. Catherine's Hospital, East Chicago. He was the beloved husband of the late Carole (DiGiacomo) Rickmann who passed away September 17, 1996; loving father of Nicholas (Kellie) Rickmann, William G. Rickmann III, and the late Alex T. Rickmann; cherished grandfather of Lucy and Carter Rickmann; dearest brother of Larry (Ginger) Rickmann, Randall Rickmann, Kurt Rickmann, Linda Steinmetz, Timmy (Angie) Stinnet, Tina (late Richie) Prenetta and Tony Stinnett. Devoted to his family he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him including many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his devoted canine companion "Miracle". 

William Rickmann was born on September 8th, 1960 to the late William G. Rickmann and Shirley Lois (Vanderberg) Rickmann Stinnett. A lifelong resident of the Whiting-Robertsdale Community, he was a graduate of George Rogers Clark High School, Class of 1978. A staunch Democrat, William was a talented self-employed painter and an avid Chicago Bears fan (he never missed a game!).

A private ceremony with only his close immediate family has been held. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Baran Funeral Home 1235-119th St. Whiting, Indiana 46394.
