Valentina M. Bulvan

Valentina M. Bulvan, 71 of Whiting, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 22, 2024 at the RML Specialty Hospital, Hinsdale, Illinois. Beloved mother of Joseph (Tina) Bulvan, Victoria (Jesse Quezada) Glowacki, Sarah (Keith Mensing) Wheeler and Katie Wheeler; cherished grandmother of Rebecca and Thomas Bulvan, Frank Glowacki, Viviana Quezada and Jaxson Mensing; dear sister of Thomas Bulvan; fond aunt of Paul Bulvan and Bridget Calabretta; longtime companion, Richard Wheeler.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 2, 2024 at 10:00am at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting with the Rev. James Dvorscak, officiating; interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, Illinois; visitation at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 to 6:00p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on-line at www.baranfh.com.

Valentina Bulvan was born on February 14, 1953 in Chicago, Illinois to Thomas and Lottie (Dwualt) Bulvan and had been a resident of Whiting for the past 31 years. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting and gardening. Devoted to her family, Valentina will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
