Thomas H. Fisher

Thomas H. Fisher, 73 of Whiting, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022 at the Hartsfield Care Center, Munster. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Lindy (nee Jansky); loving father of Kathy, Tammy and Laura Fisher; cherished grandpa of Alexander; dearest brother of Alexander (Rose) Fisher and the late Scott Fisher and late John Fisher; nieces and nephews.

Private services were held, there was no visitation. A Celebration of Tom’s Life will be held at a future date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119^th St., Whiting. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on-line at www.baranfh.com.

Tom Fisher was born on January 31, 1949 to Alexander and Charlene (Beatty) Fisher. He was a lifelong resident of the Calumet Region and was a member of the Whiting United Methodist Church, the Roosevelt Club and the American Slovak Club. He was a member of the Pipefitters Union, Local 587 with a service of 50 years. A devoted husband, father and grandpa, Tom will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family, would be appreciated.
