Theresa C. Kujawa

Theresa C. Kujawa, 92 of Whiting, formerly of Chicago, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 28, 2022 at her residence. She was the beloved wife of the late Chester F. Kujawa who passed away December 12, 2016; loving mother of Christine (Erick) Wright; cherished grandmother of Christopher Tyler and Jessica Marek; cherished great grandma of Faith, Kiya and Ryan; many dear nieces and nephews and her devoted canine companion, “Buddy”.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 12, 2022 with a Mass of Christian Burial being offered at 10:00am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 119^th Street and Lincoln Avenue, Whiting; visitation at the church from 9:00am to time of services; interment of cremains will be held at a later date at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Illinois.. Theresa Kujawa was born on August 30, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the eleventh of twelve children born to Steven and Sophia Kujawa and has been a resident of Whiting for the past four years. She was a graduate of Lourdes High School, Chicago, Class of 1947 and was a retired executive secretary in the financial sector.
