Scott “Trip” Triplett, 45 of Whiting, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 23, 2021at St. Catherine Hospital, East Chicago. Loving father of Tyler Triplett; beloved son of Harry Triplett and the late Linda Horner Triplett; dear brother of Keith Triplett; cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 8:00pm at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting with the Rev. Stanley J. Dominik, officiating; cremation to follow; visitation at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00pm to time of services. (Due to the current health situation face masks must be worn and social distancing is expected.) Expressions of sympathy may be placed on-line at www.baranfh.com.
Scott Triplet was born on June 18, 1976 and was a lifelong resident of the Whiting-Robertsdale Community. He was a graduate of George Rogers Clark High School, Class of 1995 and was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Whiting Post 80 (memorial service, Thursday at 6:30pm). He was a talented carpenter and was an employee of Hyman’s Ace Hardware, Whiting. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and trap shooting. Devoted to his family, Scott will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, memorials for the future education of Tyler Triplett, would be appreciated.
