Saudia J. (Delarosa) Kempke

Saudia J. Kempke (nee Delarosa) 52 of Whiting, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at the University of Chicago Medical Center. She is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, Kyle; loving mother of Jessica (Christopher Ramirez) Kempke, Julia (Julian) Nevaraz, Kyle (fiancée, Catherine) Kempke, Joshua Kempke, Jonathan (Alexis Reyes) Kempke, Jacob Kempke and Kristyn Kempke; cherished grandma-ma of Sophia, Alvjah, Ivy, Riley, Oliver, Julian, Nicholas, Penelope and Nolan; dearest sister of Regina (Francisco) Gonzalez and the late Roldan Delarosa; dear aunt of Jose Delarosa, Antonia Delarosa and Jasmine Delarosa.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2024, from 3:00 am to 5:00pm at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting. In Lieu of flowers, memorials to the Whiting Food Pantry, P.O. Saudia Kempke was born on October 13, 1971 in Chicago, Illinois to Antonia and Gloria (Garcia) Delarosa and was a resident of Whiting for the past 18 years. She was a graduate of Lakeview High School, Chicago, Class of 1989 and was employed by Walmart, Hammond. Devoted to her family, Saudia will be sadly  missed by all who knew and loved her.
