Ronald L. Carpenter

Ronald L. Carpenter, 70 of Whiting, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at his residence. He was the sixth of ten children born to the late Willis and Dorothy (Schiesser) Carpenter and has many nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services have been entrusted to the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th Street, Whiting; there was no visitation. Expressions of sympathy may be shared on-line at www.baranfh.com.

Ron was born on November 1, 1955 and was a lifelong resident of the Whiting-Robertsdale Community. He was a graduate of George Rogers Clark High School, Class of 1974 and enjoyed cycling. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. (219) 659-4400.
