Ronald Gene Bizzell

Ronald Gene Bizzell, 85 of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 23, 2023 at the Munster Med-Inn. He was beloved husband of 40 years to the late Kathleen J. Bizzell (nee Redepenning) who passed away on February 24, 2022. He is survived by his step-children, Anna (Kenny) Hines, Matthew Cain and Kathleen (William) Behrens; cherished grandpa of Krystle Hines, Kayla Cain, Erica Cain and Matthew Cain; dear great grandpa of Josef Hines; brother of Wanda Sue Bizzell.

Private services were held with interment of cremains at Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th Street, Whiting, IN. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on-line at www.baranfh.com.

Ronald Bizzell was born on June 15, 1938 in Kentucky to Even and Carrie Bizzell and was a resident of the Calumet Region for the past 43 years. He was a retiree of Safety Clean with a service of 20 years and enjoyed fishing. Devoted to his family, Ronald will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
