Obituary
Robert J. Geber, 66 of Whiting, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 10, 2023 at his residence. Beloved son of May (Lindgren) Geber and the late John Geber; father of Barry Geber; brother of Joseph Geber and Steven (Karen) Geber; many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Robert’s Life will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023 at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th Street, Whiting from 5:00pm to time of the Memorial Service at 6:00pm with the Rev. Mark R. Peres, C.PP.S., of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Whiting, officiating. Expressions of Sympathy may be places on-line at www.baranfh.com.
Robert Geber was born on March 7, 1957. He was a lifelong resident of the Whiting-Robertsdale Community and was a graduate of George Rogers Clark High School. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran attaining the rank of corporal and was a retiree of the Amoco Oil (BP) Whiting Refinery. Devoted to his family, Robert will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
