Paul Thomas III

Paul Thomas, III, 62 of Whiting, formerly of the East Side of Chicago, passed away Friday, March 5, 2021at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, Indiana. Beloved father of Joseph, Paul IV, Jenalee and Dakota Thomas; cherished brother of Connie (Petar) Jevdosic, Tina Thomas and the late June Saxinger; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death  by the mother of his children, Julie Joswiak.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021, from 4:00 to 7:00pm at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119^th St., Whiting; cremation to follow. (Due to the current health situation a limitation of 50 people will be allowed in the funeral home at one time, face masks must be worn, social distancing is expected and temperatures will be taken.) Paul Thomas was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 18, 1959 to Paul, Jr. and Barbara Thomas and was a lifelong resident of the Calumet Region. He attended George Washington High School, Chicago and was a former employee of INEOS. Paul enjoyed “Fantasy Football”. He loved music, especially classic rock-n-roll and was an avid Rolling Stones fan. Devoted to his family, Paul will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
