Paul A. Mureiko, 65 of Whiting passed away Thursday, September 17, 2020 at his residence. Beloved father of Christopher, Danylle and Sara Jane; cherished son of Christine (Jewell) Mureiko and the late Theodore “Ted” Mureiko; dearest brother of Susan Colantuond, Christine Mureiko and the late Eric Mureiko; dear friend, Tim Baker of Alabama who he enjoyed visits to whenever he could. His many friends and neighbors will miss his kindness and willingness to help anyone he could.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting, there was no visitation.
Paul Mureiko was born on October 7, 1954 in Chicago, Illinois and had been a resident of Whiting. He had many places of employment during his lifetime and had been currently employed at the Horseshoe Casino, Hammond. He was a great car fan and enjoyed going to car shows and car museums. In his younger days, Paul was an “Alley Mechanic”. He enjoyed tinkering with go-carts and putting together many model cars kits. He loved to go antiquing and attending flea markets. He was a major sci-fi fan and loved going out to eat with friends and family. Paul will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
