Patrick James McCartin

Patrick James McCartin, 57 of Whiting, formerly of Palos Heights, Illinois, passed away Friday, January 6, 2023 at his residence. He was the beloved son of the late Eugene Austin and Mary Catherine (Mullen) McCartin; dearest brother of Joseph (Suzanne) McCartin, Catherine (Keith) Goodale, Michael McCartin, Mary (Matthew) Murphy and the late Eugene McCartin and John McCartin; many dear nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, Worth, Illinois. There was no visitation. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119^th Street, Whiting, IN. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on-line at www.baranfh.com.

Patrick McCartin was born on August 27, 1965 in Evergreen Park, Illinois and was currently a resident of Whiting. A graduate of Marist High School, Class of 1983, he was a proud member of Pipefitters Local 597 and was an avid golfer.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to Pipefitters Local 597 Scholarship Fund, would be appreciated.
