Michael Ross Vanderberg

Michael Ross Vanderberg, 49 of Hammond, passed away peacefully on the early morning of Sunday, February 27, 2022 at the Community Hospital, Munster. Beloved son of Edith (Erickson) Murray and the late Ross Alan Vanderberg; loving brother of Jeremy Vanderberg and Jason Vanderberg; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119^th Street, Whiting, there was no visitation. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on-line at www.baranfh.com.

Michael Vanderberg was born on September 23, 1972 and was a longtime resident of Hammond. A US Army Veteran, Michael received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology from Purdue University, he was an employee of the City of Hammond and enjoyed video gaming, Devoted to his family, Michael will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
