Lisa Kuenzi Obituary
Lisa G. Kuenzi, 61 of Whiting, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 27, 2023 at St. Catherine Hospital, East Chicago. She is survived by her beloved life partner, Joseph Pastorcik; loving mother of Robert (late Daisy) Lay; adoring grandmother of Guenevere Lay; cherished sister of Linda (Richard) Mahoney (her twin), Tommy (Amy) Kidd, Rob Kuenzi and Lori (Ted) Carroll; many dear nieces and nephew and her canine companion, “Butterscotch” and feline companion, “Spookie”.
A Celebration of Lisa’s Life will be held on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 8:00pm at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting. Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00pm to time of services. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on-line at www.baranfh.com.
Lisa Kuenzi was born on August 21, 1961 to Reinhardt Kuenzi and Leona Woolworth Borders and was a lifelong resident of the Calumet Region. She was a former employee of Center Lounge, Whiting. She enjoyed gardening, swimming in her pool and her pets. Devoted to her family, she will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society, would be appreciated.
