Kelly M. Scott

Kelly M. Scott, 54 of Whiting, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 26, 2024, surrounded by her most cherished family at her residence. She is survived by her beloved husband and best friend of 31 years, Thomas Kammerer; loving mother of Daniel (Corine) Scott; devoted daughter of Cheryl (Rick) Scott Rosado (nee Guthrie); dearest sister of Lori (Kevin) Scott; dear aunt of Riley Scott; adoring niece of Lori Dattulo.

A Celebration of Kelly’s Life will be held on Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Roosevelt Club, 1934 Front Street, Whiting, Indiana.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th Street, Whiting, Indiana. Kelly Scott was born on September 21, 1969. A lifelong resident of Whiting, she was a graduate of Whiting High School, Class of 1987. She was a popular bartender at several of the local pubs. She loved music and enjoyed attending many concerts, especially Grateful Dead and the Dave Matthews Band, and was a great animal lover. Devoted to her family, Kelly will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Whiting 'Gimme Shelter' (for pets), P.O.
