Kathleen J. (nee Redepenning) Bizzell

Kathleen J. Bizzell (nee Redepenning) 75 of Hammond, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 24, 2022 at her residence. She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, Ronald Gene Bizzell; loving mother of Anna (Kenny) Hines, Matthew Cain and Kathleen (William) Behrens; cherished grandmother of Krystle Hines, Kayla Cain, Erica Cain and Matthew Cain; adoring great grandma of Josef Hines; sister of April Redepenning, Robert Redepenning and the late John (dearest sister in law Nancy) Redepenning; dear aunt of David Redepenning.

A Private Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, March 4, 2022 at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th Street, Whiting, IN 46394 with the Rev. Mark R. Peres, C.PP.S. of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Whiting, officiating; visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00pm to time of services. Kathleen Bizzell was born on January 6, 1947 in Hammond, Indiana.  She was a lifelong resident of NW Indiana and a graduate of Lake Central High School, Class of 1965. Kathleen loved photography, especially shooting nature scenes, enjoyed fishing and was a great animal advocate. Kathleen loved and cherished all of her friends and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Whiting “Gimme Shelter” (for pets), P.O.
