Juan Arciniega was born on November 2, 1942 in Robstown, Texas to Juan and Louisa (Rodriguez) Arciniega. A longtime resident of the Calumet Region, he was a US Marine Corps Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and was a retiree of US Gypsum, East Chicago with a service of 25 years. Juan enjoyed listening to music, watching westerns, working out, running races and mentored people trying to stay sober. He was especially close to his siblings and will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, memorials to either Gate House Recovery Home for Women, (219) 671-9116 or Lake Area Recovery Club, 201 N. Griffith Blvd., Griffith, IN 46319, would be appreciated.
