John P. Lusebrink, 68 of Whiting passed away Wednesday, June 16, 2021at St. Catherine Hospital, East Chicago. Loving father of Renee (David) Howard and Johnny Lusebrink; cherished grandpa of Sarah, Boomer and Johnny Lusebrink, Kyle Gill, Brandon Homans and Allen Lewandowski; beloved son of Catherine “Kitty” Lusebrink and the late Robert Lusebrink; many dear aunts, uncles and cousins of Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021at 8:00pm at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting with the Rev. Mark R. Peres, C.PP.S. of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Whiting, officiating; visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 to time of services; cremation to follow.
John Lusebrink was born on January 15, 1953. He was a longtime resident of Whiting and was a graduate of Whiting High School, Class of 1971. He was a former employee of Kyle Chemical of Hammond. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Devoted to his family, John will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated.
