Joanne D. Gill

Joanne D. Gill, 72 of the East Side of Chicago, passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at Trinity Hospital, Chicago. She was the beloved daughter of the late William G. and Jacqueline (Floren) Gill; loving sister of Dianne Gill, William (late Gail) Gill, late Robert (Susan) Gill, George (Terry) Gill, Suzie Gill, late John (Wendy) Gill, Jimmy (Karen) Gill and Michael Gill; dearest aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

 A private inurnment service will take place at St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park, Illinois, with the Rev. Mark R. Peres, C.PP.S. of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Whiting, officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th Street, Whiting, there was no visitation. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on-line at www.baranfh.com

Joanne Gill was born on December 26, 1951 and was a lifelong resident of Chicago. She was a member of St. Francis DeSales Church, Chicago and spent her working career in the banking industry. She was an avid Chicago Cubs, Bears and Dallas Cowboys fan. She collected “Teddy Bears” and loved making jewelry. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the charity of your choice, would be appreciated.
