Jeremy A. Vanderberg

Jeremy A. Vanderberg, 47 of Michigan City, formerly of Hobart, passed away suddenly at his residence on Friday, August 26, 2022.  Loving father of Devin Vanderberg and Avery Vanderberg; adoring grandpa of Madelyn; beloved son of Edith (Erickson) Murray and the late Ross Alan Vanderberg; dearest brother of Jason Vanderberg and the late Michael Vanderberg; dear uncle of Dakota, Cameron, Madison, Levi and Kilee; mother of his children, Angela (Svitko) Vanderberg; aunts, uncles and cousins.

A celebration of Jeremy’s life will be held from 5:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119^th Street, Whiting; cremation to follow. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on-line at www.baranfh.com.

Jeremy was born on October 9, 1974 in Hammond, Indiana and was a lifelong resident of the Calumet Region. He was a graduate of Anderson County High School, Clinton, Tennessee, Class of 1992 and spent his working career in warehouse management. He enjoyed trips to the casino and was an avid Chicago White Sox fan. Jeremy enjoyed coaching baseball and basketball in the Hobart community for many years. He loved people and people loved him back. Jeremy will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Hobart Little League, would be appreciated.
