Jeremy P. Boyer

Jeremy P. Boyer, 21 of East Chicago, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 9, 2023. Loving father of Natalia Boyer; beloved son of Mark and Nanette (Jefchak) Boyer; cherished nephew of Janice (Jeff) Mastrovich; dearest cousin of Emily Sands and Nathan Farmer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be be offered on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at 10:00am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 119th Street and Lincoln Avenue, Whiting, with the Rev. Mark R. Peres, C.PP.S., officiating; visitation at the church on Wednesday morning from 9:00am to time of Mass. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting. Jeremy Boyer was born on December 17, 2001 and was a lifelong resident of the Calumet Region. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and attended St. John School. He was a graduate of George Rogers Clark High School, Class of 2020 and was currently employed as a security ambassador for the Horseshoe Casino, Hammond. Jeremy was an avid gamer, enjoying video and board games. He loved music and played keyboards and the saxophone. A devoted father and son, Jeremy will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials are made in Jeremy Boyer's honor would be appreciated.
