James Buksar Obituary

James E. Buksar, 60 of Whiting, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at his residence. He was the beloved son of the late John M. and Mildred K. (Kurella) Buksar; loving brother of Joanne Irene (Tom) Gajentan, Joseph George (Terese) Buksar, Mary Ruth (John) Plutz, Jerry (Donna) Buksar and the late John Charles “Chuck” Buksar; loving uncle to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Many extended family members of the Buksar and Kurella families.

James was born on July 15, 1958 and was a lifelong resident of Whiting. He was a graduate of Whiting High School, class of 1976 and was a member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Assoc., BR. 81. He enjoyed working on cars, riding his motorcycle and was an avid Chicago Bears and Chicago Cubs fan. Devoted to his family, James will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting. There was no visitation; services are pending.
