Herbert John Siebert

Herbert John Siebert, 64 of Whiting, passed away suddenly on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at his residence. He was the beloved husband of the late Jennifer Holsembach Siebert;  loving father of Blaz, Donald and Samantha Siebert; grandfather of two.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 8:00pm at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting, with the Rev. Charles W, Niblick, officiating; cremation to follow; visitation at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on-line at www.baranfh.com.

Herbert Siebert was born on October 27, 1959 in Chicago, Illinois to Herbert and Marie (Peterson) Siebert and was a graduate of Marie Curie High School, Class of 1978. He had been a resident of Whiting for the past 16 years. He was a retiree of Carpenters Local 1889 and a member of the Whiting Sokol Club. A very talented carpenter, he enjoyed all types of woodworking. Devoted to his family, Herbert will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
