Helen M. (O'Malley) Carroll

Helen M. Carroll (nee O’Malley) 77 of Whiting passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at the Ignite Medical Resort, Dyer. She is survived by her beloved husband of 41 years, Jerome D. Carroll; loving mother of Beth Buelta and Raymond (Scheryl) Corman; cherished grandmother of Michael Corman and Zoe Corman; dearest sister of Pat (Sam) Santastefano and the late John O’Malley and Margaret O’Malley; nieces and nephews.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th Street, Whiting, there is no visitation. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on-line at www.baranfh.com.

Helen Carroll was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 4, 1946 to John and Laura (Brandt) O’Malley. A lifelong resident of the Calumet Region, she was a graduate of George Washington High School, on the East Side of Chicago, Class of 1964. She was the retired Director of Facilities for the Law Firm of Gardner, Carton & Douglas, Chicago, with a service of 43 years. A devoted wife, Helen will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Cancer Society, would be appreciated.
