Obituary
Elizabeth A. Schwartz (nee Withrow) 85 of North Hammond, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at the VNA of Northwest Indiana Hospice Center, Valparaiso. She is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years, David Schwartz and was the mother of nine children, grandmother to many grandchildren and great grandchildren, was one of nine siblings and aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Private services were held, there was no visitation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting.

Elizabeth Schwartz was born on December 21, 1937 in Beckley, West Virginia to Lawrence and Lena Withrow. She was a resident of Hammond for the past 56 years and is a member of the New Life Christian Church, Whiting. Devoted to her family, Elizabeth will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the New Life Christian Church, 1829 Central Avenue, Whiting, Indiana 46394, would be appreciated.
