Craig A. Murzyn, 53 of Whiting, passed away Thursday, July 9, 2020 at his residence. He was the beloved son of the late Frank “Satch” and Judy (Ulm) Murzyn; cherished brother of Mark (Tina) Murzyn, Richard Murzyn and Melissa (Tom) Shebish; dearest uncle of Malik, Julianna, Madison, Jake, Nick, Gracie, Crystal (fiancée, Daniel) and Brittany (Giovanni); dear nephew of Jaci (George) Pantelis.

Private funeral services were held, there was no visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119^th Street, Whiting. Expressions of sympathy may be placed online at www.baranfh.com .

Craig Murzyn was born on August 16, 1966 and was a lifelong resident of Whiting. He was a graduate of Whiting High School, Class of 1984 and was a former employee of the Lake County Recorders Office. Craig loved all sports and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Whiting “Gimme Shelter” (for pets), P.O. Box 591, Whiting, IN 46394, would be appreciated.
