"Of a kind heart, Charlene was a gentle soul but with a restless spirit. She loved helping people and showing appreciation. She was a true friend. She loved nature, riding her bike outdoors, around George and Wolfe Lakes. She always looked forward to visiting her second home in Coto de Caza, CA. Her heart was devoted to her pets: Shorty, and her border collies: Jake and Elwood. Her feral feline, Joe. As my sister, she was the wind beneath my wings. She supported me in everything I did, with her big heart and patience. She was always just a phone call away...I will miss her so... As Auntie Char, she so loved her nephew Bill. She was so proud of his graduation from college. They shared a special bond in spite of challenges. Charlene's girlfriends were all special to her. They helped each other thru life. Judi Ashley, Megan Palko and Liz Brasell come to mind... Charlene had a true sense of humor. She and Jeac Mullan, my fiance, could charm and cajole each other. She was his soul sister and buddy. Many fun times are remembered at the Bulldog in downtown Whiting and Turks Bar in Dana Point, CA. Charlene loved Queen and Freddie Mercury. May Charlene's spirit soar in heaven: "My soul is painted like the wings of butterflies, with fairy tales of yesterday that grow old but never die, I am free my friends". Charlene, God love you and keep you. May the Lord's face shine upon you as a beautiful angel in heaven." Your family, Joanna, Bill and Jeac
