Carol A. (Kruse) Garreffa

Carol A. Garreffa (nee Kruse) 66 of Whiting, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 13 2024, at the Munster Med-Inn. Loving mother of Nicholas (Misty Allen) Garreffa, James Garreffa and Michael (Morgan) Garreffa; cherished grandmother of Tyler, Hailee, Jake, Karlina and Aria; adoring great grandma Sophia; dearest sister of  Robert (Theresa) Kruse and Mark (Yesika) Kruse; nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th Street, Whiting on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00p.m., concluding with a prayer service at 6:30p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on-line at www.baranfh.com.

Carol Garreffa was born on March 5, 1958 to Brent and Barbara (Kaminsky) Kruse. A lifelong resident of the Whiting-Robertsdale Community, she was a graduate of George Rogers Clark High School, Class of 1976. Carol had been a waitress at the Purple Steer Restaurant, Whiting, for many years and enjoyed bowling and the occasional trip to the casino. Devoted to her family, she will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
