Anna Emma Kreisl, 36 of Hammond, passed away suddenly on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Franciscan Health, Munster. Beloved daughter of Chuck and Cindy (Barnaby) Kreisl; fearless sister of Sam Kreisl and Cody Kreisl; many dear aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Celebration of Anna’s Life will be held on her birthday, Wednesday, May 15, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00pm at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting, concluding with funeral services at 8:00pm with the Rev. Mark Kurowski, officiating; cremation to follow. Expressions of sympathy may be placed on-line at www.baranfh.com.
Anna Kreisl was born on May 15, 1987 and was a longtime resident of the Calumet Region. An employee of the former Calumet Harley, she loved motorcycles and was a life member of H.O.G. She was also a welder and employee of the BSNF Railroad. Fondly called “our agent of chaos”, Anna loved to get dirty in her garden and was able to fix anything. She knew it all and was famous for her “Anna splain things!”. A loving daughter and sister, Anna will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Settlers Pond Animal Rescue, 1301 E. Offner Road, Beecher, IL 60401, would be appreciated.
