Theodore J. “Tedd” Molson, 89 of Lockport, IL, formerly of Whiting, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox, IL. He was the beloved husband of the late Pauline A. (Petyo) Molson; loving father of Christian of Lockport and Phillip of Arizona; cherished brother of Edwardine (Ross) Johnson and Francis (late Mary Lois) Molson; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting, with the Rev. Mark R. Peres, C.PP.S., officiating; interment, St. John Cemetery; visitation at the funeral home on Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00pm.

Tedd Molson was born on June 26, 1928 in Whiting, Indiana to John and Mary (Tumidalsky)  Molson. A lifelong Whitingite, Tedd spent the last 14 years with his son in Lockport, IL where he was a member of St. Dennis Church. He was a former member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Whiting where he was a member of the Adult Choir, the former Holy Name Society and had worked in Helping Hands at St. John School. He was a graduate of Catholic Central (Bishop Noll) High School, Class of 1946 and attended Indiana University, Bloomington. Tedd was a retiree of the CP Knapp Insurance Agency, Hammond with over 25 years of service.  He was an avid reader and loved to work crossword puzzles. He loved to sing and enjoyed watching old movies. Devoted to his family, Tedd will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him
