Paul R. Roberts, 68 of Whiting, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at the St. Catherine Hospital, East Chicago. He is survived by his beloved life partner, Frances Morando; cherished brother of Stephen (Sherry) Roberts,  Karen Fuller, and  Lisa Ludwig;  proud uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services have been entrusted to the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting. There was no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

Paul Roberts was born on July 5, 1949 in Linton, Indiana to Richard and Violet Roberts. He loved to go fishing and hunting, and was a life long fan of the Chicago Bears and the Chicago White Sox. Paul enjoyed spending time at the Midtown station with his many friends, where he enjoyed his Heineken Beer and Rumple Minze. He was a retiree of LTV/ US Steel Co., East Chicago with a service of 33 years and was a member of the USW Local 1011. Devoted to his family, Paul will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
