Marie S. Kuss (nee Weathers) 67 of Whiting, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at her residence. She is survived by her beloved husband of 49 years, John T. Kuss; loving mother of Margaret Escobodo and Rebecca (Paul) O’Drobinak; cherished grandmother of John Dale Conrad, Kaitlin Curran, Amanda (fiancée, Ryan Smith) O’Drobinak and Madison O’Drobinak; adoring great grandma of Scarlett Curran; dearest sister of Patricia Cummings; dear sister-in-law of Carl (Linda) Kuss, Joan (late Jim) Kuhn, Paul (Joanne) Kuss, Lorraine Smutniak and Ron (Joyce) Kuss; many nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services were held; there was no visitation.

Marie Kuss was born on October 14, 1950 to John and Barbara (Poppen) Weathers. She was a lifelong resident of the Calumet Region and enjoyed reading recipes. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Whiting Food Pantry would be appreciated
