Margaret D. Myers (nee Apato) 97 of Indian Rocks Beach, FL, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017 at the Oak Manor Nursing Home, Largo, FL. She was the beloved wife of the late Wallace Myers; loving mother of Leslie (Dennis) Rittenmeyer and Robert Myers; proud grandmother of Jennifer, Maggie and Adam Bonjean and Owen Myers; adoring great grandma of twelve; dearest sister of the late Katherine Vanderwall; cherished aunt and “Mom” of Carol (Tony) Ewonaitis, Don Semeniuk and Paul (Rita) Vanderwall.

A private burial service was held at St. Mary Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL, a Memorial Service in Florida will be announced at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Baran Funeral Home, Whiting, IN.

Marge Myers was born on November 13, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois to Michael and Katherine Apato and was a longtime resident of Indian Rocks Beach, FL. She was a member of St. Jerome Church, Largo and was a volunteer and board member of the Indian Rocks Beach Historical Society and a volunteer and former employee of the Indian Rocks Beach Arts Center. Devoted to her family Margaret will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. In lieu of flowers, memorials to either the Indian Rocks Beach Historical Society or Arts Center, would be appreciated.
