Adrian Casas, 49 of Hammond, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019 at the Community Hospital, Munster. He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Danielle (nee Rowden); loving father of Isabella, Danika and Adrianna; devoted son of Jose Casas and the late Maria Guadalupe Garcia Casas; cherished brother of the late Alfredo (Socorro) Casas, Alma (Benjamin) Serrano, Estela (Juan) Landeros, Leticia (Umberto) Casteneda, Rosa (Jesus) Reyes, Carlos (Dolores) Casas, Octavio Casas, Nubia (Raul) Alvarado, late Fabian Casas, Manuel (Elsa) Casas and Socorro (Javier) Campos; dearest son-in-law of Dennis (late Ann Laurie) Rowden; dear brother-in-law of Kristopher (Holly) Rowden, Sean (late Greg) Rowden and the late Dennane Rowden; proud uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 1, 2019 at 8:00pm at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting with the Rev. Eduardo Malagon of St. Casimir Church, Hammond, officiating; cremation to follow; visitation at the funeral home on Monday from 4:00pm to time of services.
Adrian Casas was born on April 12, 1970 in Tlaltenango, Zacateras, Mexico and was a longtime resident of the Calumet Region. Adrian loved cars and worked in the automotive restoration industry. He had participated in many of the Whiting Cruise Nights. Devoted to his family, Adrian will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
