Abraham Ramon Mendez, beloved infant son of Cyrus Mendez and Jackie Lopez, of Whiting. passed away Thursday, January 11, 2018 at St. Catherine Hospital, East Chicago. Abraham is also survived by his big brother, Cyrus; paternal grandparents, Maria and Ramon Mendez; maternal grandparents, Moses Lopez and Patricia Santa Maria; great grandparents, Joe and Dolores Papach, Amelia Valasquez, Moises and Guadalupe Lopez; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 1:00pm at the Baran Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Stanley J. Dominik, officiating; interment followed at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, Illinois.
