Eva Corina Puente

Eva Corina Puente, 71 of South Bend, formerly of Whiting, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 26 2024 at the Raclin House, Center for Hospice Care, Mishawaka, Indiana. She was the beloved daughter of the late Joaquin and Amelia (Delgado) Puente; loving sister of Rose (late John) Perez, Joe L., Richard and James Puente and the late Carlos Puente and Mary Christine Puente; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, 11:30am at the Baran Funeral Home, 1235-119th St., Whiting; a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 12 noon at Sacred Heart Church, Whiting, with the Rev. Jay Nuthulapti, officiating; private interment at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Gary; visitation at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 9:30am to time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials to The Arc at donate.thearc.org would be appreciated. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Benchmark Human Service (South Bend) and the Center for Hospice Care (Mishawaka) for the excellent care they gave to Eva.
