Darrel E. Dollins, 52 of Whiting, passed away Monday, April 10, 2017 at St. Catherine Hospital, East Chicago. He is survived by his cherished friend and companion, Sue Ylitalo; loving brother of Dale (Kim) Dollins of Whiting, David (Monica) Dollins of Kenosha, WI and Darren Dollins of Rensselaer, IN; nieces, nephews, aunts uncles and cousins.

There was no visitation.

Darrel Dollins was born on September 17, 1964 to the late Fred and Carolyn (Geary) Dollins. He was a lifelong resident of Whiting and was a graduate of Whiting High School, Class of 1983. He was a member of Whiting Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR and all sports and was a avid Chicago Bears fan. Memorials to the family would be appreciated.
