Bernard L. Niceswander, 57 of Whiting, passed away suddenly on the morning of Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at St. Catherine Hospital, East Chicago. He was the beloved son of June (Akerman) Peterson and the late Bernard Niceswander; loving brother of Sandra (Randall) Kell and Julie (late Thomas) Connelly; cherished uncle of Brian Kell, Amy (Steven) Kinsler, Amanda (David) Barks, Jamie Lindsey and Benjamin Lindsey; adoring great uncle of Kelly, Brady, Danica, Jagger, Keegan, Layla and Hunter; many aunts, uncles and cousins.

There was no visitation.
